Services offered by the unit are:

1. Provide socio-economic and  cultural advice on project and programme implementation

 
2. Liaise with MEU on the following:
       • Impact evaluations, studies on projects and programmes at pre and post project implementation
       • Conducting of base line studies of projects
       • Project monitoring during implementation
       • Establish an M&E system and database closely linked to PBU
       • Criteria and agreed guidelines, timeframes for monitoring and evaluation projects
       • Give advice on appropriate corrective mitigation measures on projects
       • In collaboration with MEU advise on alternative implementation approaches where appropriate
