Her Majesty the Indlovukazi received throngs of Lutsango from the Hhohho Region and beyond who responded to the royal call to bring Buganu, marking the beginning of the Buganu Festival at Buhleni Royal Residence today.
The jubilant Lutsango members sang and danced as they marched into the Royal Residence to present before Her Majesty, who was joined by Emakhosikati as they followed proceedings of the day.
Emakhosikati, Balondolozi, members of the Royal Family and Cabinet ministers also joined in the festivities and delivered the Buganu and different fruits and vegetables to Her Majesty. Lutsango from different government ministries, parastatals and companies also came through in groups to pay homage to the mother of the nation. Other noticeable individuals was Miss Africa as well as International guests from Germany.
The ceremony continues tomorrow (Saturday) in the afternoon at the arena where His Majesty King Mswati III will grace the ceremony and address the gathering. The ceremony has gained popularity over the years as the numbers of attendees grows annualy and attracts tourists from different countries who come through to witness the colourful event that is also meant to equip Lutsango with life skills, empower them to be able to earn a living at their respective areas.
