The Swaziland Broadcasting and Information Services is responsible for disseminating news and information which is aimed at educating, informing and entertaining the Swazi nation effectively and impartially for the purposes of development and social welfare through radio broadcast and publications.

Current Function of SBIS

• 24 hour broadcast of programs, news and entertainment over the Siswati channel
• 18 hour broadcast of programs, news and entertainment over the English channel
• Publication of Swaziland Today newsletter
• Provision of public address system during major national function, celebrations, tinkhundla activities and general public functions
• Production and promotion of local artists and music
