The Department of Agricultural Planning and Analysis is responsible for guiding the development, updating, facilitating and coordinating implementation of, as well as monitoring of Government’s agricultural strategy, policies, programmes and projects.
Broadly this includes providing socio-economic and planning support to the Ministry through policy and strategy review; programme development; support for departmental programme formulation; capital project preparation; budget analysis; agricultural information management, that is collection, collation, analysis and dissemination of data, as well as liaison and coordination.
This department is composed of the following units:
