National Transport Policy

The policy facilitates the smooth and efficient system that allows for the preferred social and economic development within the Transport Sector. Two key issues related to the road infrastructure are included. These are the establishment of an autonomous and accountable national Roads Authority and the development and implementation of a cohesive and definitive road funding policy including the creation of a dedicated Road Fund exclusively for road maintenance and rehabilitation.
