GOVERNMENT STATEMENT
APPOINTMENT AND REDEPLOYMENT OF PRINCIPAL
SECRETARIES AND THE APPOINTMENT OF THE
GOVERNOR OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF ESWATINI

It has pleased His Majesty King Mswati III to command that we announce the following appointments of Principal Secretaries. The following
appointments are with immediate effect.

1. Phesheya David Dube – Ministry of Information Communication and
Technology (ICT)
2. Newman Sizwe Ntshangase – Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
International Cooperation
3. Sydney Boy Simelane – Ministry of Agriculture
The following Principal Secretaries have been transferred:
1. Makhosini Mndawe – From PS at the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office
to PS in the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
2. Melusi Masuku – From PS in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
International Cooperation to PS in the Deputy Prime Minister’s
Office.
2. Revocation of Appointment
1. The appointment of Maxwell Masuku is revoked with immediate effect.
Appointment of Governor
On another note, His Majesty King Mswati III has appointed Philemon Fana
Mnisi as the Governor of the Central Bank of Eswatini (Umntjoli wemaSwati)
effective 1 July 2022 for a period not exceeding five years.
